Obituary: Lee Alexander Bernsteen

Lee Alexander Bernsteen of Rhinelander,died Feb. 13, 2014 after a brief illness in Stevens Point. Lee was born Feb. 7, 1929 to Alexander and Cornelia Bernstein in Milwaukee. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Lloyd; and sister Willamae. Lee is survived by his five children, Loralee Bernsteen, Lex (Anette) Bernsteen, Lynda (Troy) Bernsteen-Bengel, Lisbeth Fritz, and Leanna (Wayne) Kircher; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Lee will be held at noon Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Carlson Funeral Home with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. (Carlson Funeral Home)
