Viewpoint: Representatives need to return to serving the people

“When we become wise, our lives are lived from our hearts.” I wish I knew who said that. It’s printed on “Vets First” that tells us how to properly display our flag. I believe it. Do you?

What it means to me is that our elected reps are neither wise and nor have a heart.

They don’t care about the majority of their constituents. Who cares if we are Republicans, Democrats, Independents or whatever. We are all Americans. Lets do what’s best for the majority. Not just the two percent population.

In our history, they didn’t always agree but they accomplished what was needed. They never showed disrespect for the President or the office. They all worked together for the unity of our home-the U.S.A.

Let’s get back what we once had and what we need.

Truth, leadership, accountability and understanding. At these times, President Obama needs to fight and be strong. Stand up for what he believes in and help all Americans. I know in my heart that he can do this if he has our support. Never say never.
