The Tri-County Domestic Abuse Shelter and Saint Augustine’s Church will present Generation M: Misogyny in Media and Culture Feb. 12 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Saint Augustine’s Guild Hall.

Despite the achievements of the women’s movement over the past four decades, misogyny remains a persistent force in American culture.

This new documentary looks specifically at misogyny and sexism in mainstream American media, exploring how negative definitions of femininity and hateful attitudes toward women get constructed and perpetuated at the very heart of popular culture.

For more information, call the Rev. Dean Einerson at 715-362-3184.
