Obituary: Margaret “Marge” Bellile

Margaret “Marge” Bellile, 93, of Rhinelander, died Feb. 3, 2014 at the Friendly Village. Marge was born Feb. 25, 1920 in Menasha, to George and Gladys (Acker) Stommel. During World War II, Marge found herself on the west coast as one of Rosie’s Riveters. Marge is survived by her daughter Barbara, (James) Gartmann; her two sons, Russell “Buff” (Patricia) Bellile and Thomas (Debbie) Bellile, all of Rhinelander; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon “Bud” Bellile  in 1972; a brother; and two sisters. Funeral services for Marge will be held Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at noon at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church-St. Joseph’s site, with the Rev. Tom Thakadipuram officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until just prior to the services. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. (Carlson Funeral Home)
