The Oneida County Senior Center will host a trip to Green Bay to see Celtic Woman perform. This is an overnight trip. Celtic Woman was recently featured on PBS television.

The tour will be departing the Senior Center Saturday, March 15 at 7 a.m., and returning Sunday, March 16 at about 7:45 p.m.

The tour will stop at the Captain’s Walk Winery for a wine tasting, baguettes with tapenade on the side, cheese, sausage and fruit.

Afterward on the bus, Tim Freiss, author of Haunted Green Bay, will give a guided tour through Green Bay’s haunted history.

Next stop will be at the new Cook’s Corner store which has more than 25,000 square feet. This is the largest cooking products store in the nation. A cooking class, complete with samples, will be offered. There is also a fudge shop  and gourmet foods and coffee.

The tour will then visit Bay Park Square Mall, before heading to the Country Inn and Suites prior to the evening performance of Celtic Woman at the Weidner Center.

On Sunday, the tour heads to Reifs Mills Dinner Theater which is Wisconsin’s longest running all-original dinner theatre. Their production is Ireland Forever which is a variety show where the theme buffet is part of the show.

The cost for this weekend getaway is $175 per person (double occupancy). Space is limited. A $50 deposit will be required (deposit must be received within 10 days of making reservation) and several payments can be made on the balance.

Complete trip itineraries, registration forms and trip policies are on the trip board in the lobby of the Senior Center.

For more information, call Stephanie at 715-369-6170 or at 800-379-7499.
