Nicolet College Academic Success Centers now open for spring semester

Nicolet College Academic Success Centers opened Friday, Jan. 17, offering free instructional services to people preparing to attend college, building academic skills for the workplace, earning a GED or HSED, or learning to speak English.

Academic Success classes will be held in Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River, Lac du Flambeau, Tomahawk, Mole Lake, Crandon, Carter and the Forest County Potawatomi Community.

Local Hours and locations are as follows:
Rhinelander
Instruction is available in the Art Tech Center 205 on the Nicolet Campus one mile south of Rhinelander just off of Hwy. G, and in the Curran Professional Park Building, 315 Oneida Ave., suite 104.

Hours on the Nicolet Campus are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Instruction at the Curran Building is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Minocqua
In Minocqua, instruction is available in Nicolet’s Lakeland Center, 9569 Hwy. 70 West, and is open Mondays and Wednesdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Eagle River
Instruction is available in Eagle River at the Eagle River Public Library, 203 N. Main St. Hours are Mondays from 8 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Lac du Flambeau
In Lac du Flambeau, instruction is offered in the Nicolet Classroom located in the Community Education Center, 562 Peace Pipe Rd., and is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tomahawk
Instruction is available in Tomahawk at 119 West Wisconsin Avenue Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crandon
In Crandon, the center is located at 100A W. Washington St. and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
