Oneida County snowmobile trails will officially open Dec. 18
The majority of the Oneida County state-funded snowmobile trail system (as administered by the Oneida County Forestry, Land and Recreation Department) will officially open for the 2013-14 winter season at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18.
The Minocqua Forest Riders snowmobile trail system in northwest Oneida County will not open at this time.
The Oneida County Forestry Department will issue a Public Service Announcement when the Forest Riders trail system opens.
The Oneida County Forestry, Land and Recreation Department recommends staying on clearly marked trails. Always exercise caution when riding a snowmobile.
