Bob?s Power Center has everything needed to take on winter
Walking into Bob’s Power Center on a cold and blustery day, takes one back to the warmth of June with the long line up of riding mowers he has on display. But there’s more here than just grass cutting implements, especially if you are in the market for a snow blower, ice auger or log splitter.
Bob McEwen, owns and operates this business. For 21 years, he has been supplying his customers with reliable products and friendly and comprehensive customer service. The technicians here are factory trained to repair a multitude of machines and the crew is always willing to give advice or make suggestions when needed.
One machine in abundance at Bob’s is snowblowers. These range in size from smaller horsepower models to machines that can take care of large commercial spaces. Models include the trusty Toro and Ariens and the bigger more industrial models are made by Gravely. Most of these are gas powered but Bob is willing to order electric models if requested.
Ice augers are another popular tool this time of year and a reliable one is a must. Bob offers the popular Eskimo Ion battery model that will provide years of use without having to purchase gas to run it. He also has Strike Master gas models on hand in two different sizes and stocks clean and sharp blades as well.
For those needing power when none is available, Bob also carries a line of generators. Log splitters are also offered.
Bob’s warmer weather machinery is always on display and would make great holiday gifts for those who like to garden or keep their outdoors spaces looking neat and manicured. The riding lawn mower selection is impressive as well as the many walk behind models available. These include Toro, Ariens, Gravely, Cub Cadet and Simplicity in all different sizes and horsepower options.
In addition, there are many hand held machines including weed whackers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers and garden tillers available. Bob also has a very large selection of chain saws that come in a wide variety of sizes.
Bob and his team stand behind all the products they sell and offer winterizing and summer season care packages. His technicians can also repair any model of small engine machine and all service work is done “in house.” There is also a significant variety of support items at Bob’s including batteries, lawnmower motor oil, bar/chain oil and much more. Gift certificates are also offered.
