Weekly events scheduled at Rhinelander District Library

Here are the weekly events at the Rhinelander District Library:

Baby Storytime
The Rhinelander District Library’s fall session of Baby Storytime is in progress. This storytime is conducted Monday’s at 10:15 a.m. Designed for young ones ages six months to two years of age, this 20-minute program consists of simple stories, fingerplays and music. A social/play time follows each program.

Old-Fashioned Christmas Party
Come to the library Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 to 5 p.m. for the third-annual Old-Fashioned Christmas celebration. The event will feature songs, stories and a holiday craft. All are welcome.

Preschool Programs
Two programs for preschoolers are scheduled at the Rhinelander District Library Thursday, Dec. 5. A 20-minute Parent/Tot Time program for children age 2 to 3 ½ who are accompanied by an adult begins at 10 a.m. in the Children’s Department.

A 40-minute Story Time program for children age 3 ½ to 6 is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the library meeting room. At the completion of the programs, caregivers and children from both groups will gather together to do a simple craft.
