The staff at Ministry Saint Mary’s James Beck Cancer Center made Thanksgiving dinner a little easier for 12 families in Rhinelander, and the surrounding areas.

The radiation oncology staff donated everything but the turkeys which were donated by Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital administration.

“It’s an honor to partner with the Family Resource Connection to make a difference between a family having, or not having, a Thanksgiving dinner,” James Beck Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Manager, Kim Hetland said.

This is the second year the Ministry Saint Mary’s James Beck Cancer Center staff has donated Thanksgiving dinners to needy families within our local communities. The Thanksgiving meals were delivered Thursday, Nov. 21.

The James Beck Cancer Center at Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital nurtures long, close relationships and ongoing care with cancer patients, whether in the form of future treatments, palliative care, rehabilitation, checkups, support groups or providing new information.

The goal is to meet every need of every patient and to be a trusted resource for their families.
