Rhinelander Chamber helps Wisconsin Bundle Up this winter season

The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting residents to drop off new or gently used coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and other warm clothing items as part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “The Big Bundle Up” campaign. “The Big Bundle Up” is a statewide collection program running now through Jan. 4, 2014.

This is the third year of the program. Last year’s program collected more than 17,000 winter items to help warm up families in need. In addition to the Rhinelander Chamber, other collection sites are located throughout the state. Visit TravelWisconsin.com for a full listing of donation sites.

With the spirit of the holiday season, donating winter items is the perfect way to give back. A box will be located in the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce Office for donors to drop off warm clothing items. All items donated at this location will be given to Warm for Winter.

For more information about why the Rhinelander Chamber is participating in “The Big Bundle Up,” call Chamber Executive Director Lara Reed at 715-356-7464.
