City of Rhinelander, AT&T working to fix flag on tower

The flag on the Rhinelander AT&T Cell Tower is currently intertwined with the roping and appears to be shredded.

The city appreciates the concerns of the community and the significance of our flag. AT&T has been contacted for assistance with the current flag situation.
The flag is a little frayed at the bottom, but based on past experience the city does not believe the flag is shredded but is only tangled.

The practice in the past is to allow the flag to free itself. The Rhinelander Parking Advisory Committee has received assistance from AT&T to address the flag tangle problem on this 150 foot Cell Tower.

The city regrets the current flag condition and will continue to work with AT&T to prevent this from happening in the future as much as is possible.
