Press Express is in the I Buy Local Spotlight

A passion for the work being done at his business and for watching the Rhinelander community succeed are important to Press Express owner Greg Weinfurter.

Being able to help support community organizations and being able to provide a good salary for his employees are all important to his business.

“Every dollar that is spent locally gets reused locally up to seven times,” Weinfurter said. “On the flip side every dollar spent outside of our community is gone for good. When you spend a dollar in my store I can then pay my staff. My staff can then buy groceries or spend that money on entertainment. In turn the employees at those businesses can spend that same dollar and the cycle continues.”

Weinfurter began his business 24 years ago. He says he came from a family of printers and printing was in his blood.

It is important for his business to be able to listen to their customers and adapt to new technology and new trends when it comes to the marketing materials and items they print. He says it’s his ability to do this that has helped his business succeed.

And Press Express is not alone in this trend. Nationally small businesses have a reputation for providing services that are truly reflective of what their customers ask and need.

This week the traveling I Buy Local Spotlight Business sign will be at Press Express on Stevens Street in Rhinelander.

The program’s goal is to help bring a focus to local business community.

For more information on this program, contact the Chamber or Downtown Rhinelander.
