The 8th Annual Holiday Expressions, a fundraiser for the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry. will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 at Holiday Acres Resort.

More than $15,000 was raised last year, with the help of business sponsors and generous attendees. Members of the local Newcomers and Friends Group and Rhinelander Woman’s Club will again help host the event.
This year’s event features holiday decorating ideas for mini trees, a demonstration of gingerbread villages, Christmas ornaments, peppermint bark, scrapbook make n takes, a themed “North Pole General Store” area with handcrafted items to take home, appetizer samples, and the opportunity to take home a holiday table centerpiece.
Attendees are encouraged to talk with the demonstrators, visit their table, and get ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Bring your camera to capture all the ideas.
A raffle will again be held with prizes from local artisans. Three complete different table-settings will also be raffled off. Tickets can only be purchased at the event and winners need not be present to win. The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. that day.
“The idea of the event is to compliment, not compete, with the many other shows on that opening deer hunting Saturday,” Rhonda Jicinsky of Holiday Acres Resort said. “The ladies really enjoy this stop on their day out.”
A plated lunch will be served in the Three Coins Dining Room from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For more information, call Rhonda Jicinsky, Holiday Acres Resort, at 715-369-1500 or email at [email protected] Lunch reservations are appreciated.
