Town of Pine Lake – On Wednesday, November 6, 2013 the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office executed a state search warrant at 4107 Bass Lake Loop Road in the Town of Pine Lake regarding a theft investigation from the Rhinelander High School involving a teacher.

During the execution of the warrant; the suspected stolen items and an indoor marijuana grow were located. As a result of the search warrant, Joshua D. Juergens, age 35 of Rhinelander was arrested for numerous charges and is expected to appear in Oneida County Court on Friday, November 8.
Dave Wall, Assistant Superintendent with the School District of Rhinelander wanted to inform parents, students and community members that District Officials are working very closely with Oneida County Law Enforcement on an issue and investigation that involves a teacher. Mr. Wall said, “At this time, we have no information that would lead us to believe that the actions of this teacher, that are concerning to administration, involve other people. The actions of concern may involve school property. We have no information at this time that lead us to believe that the safety of students or staff members were ever in jeopardy.” Wall added, “As more information becomes known and can be share with the public, it will be shared.”
The Oneida County District Attorney will be handling the prosecution in this case.
