Patricia J. Johnson, 70, of Rhinelander, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 31, 1942 in Merrill to John and Violet (Thompson) Mixis. She married her husband, Tom, June 6, 1964 and they enjoyed 49 years together. Patricia is survived by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Kelly (Dan) Meyer; mother, Violet Mixis; sisters, Shelby Meinke, Susan Mixis and Shirley Mixis; brothers, John (JoAnne) Mixi, and Randy (Judy) Mixis; two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brad; her father, John; and her sister Sandy (Doug) Bouffiou. A memorial service for Pat will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Revs Timothy and Kari Vadis officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at the Carlson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until just prior to the services on Thursday at the church.
