CoVantage Credit Union announced that Charlie Zanayed, Rhonda Norrbom and Dan Hanson have joined the company.

Charlie Zanayed has been named as the Senior Vice President Chief Retail Officer. He contributes more than 15 years of financial experience to CoVantage. He previously worked as regional manager at a credit union in southwestern Michigan where he led a staff of more than 100 employees across 11 branches. In addition, Zanayed has experience as a branch manager and mortgage loan originator. He holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from DePaul University. Zanayed and his family have relocated to Antigo from Kalamazoo, Mich.

As Senior Vice President Chief Retail Officer, Zanayed is a member of the executive management team and provides leadership to branch managers and staff throughout CoVantage’s 11 offices and virtual branch. His efforts will help ensure the credit union’s consumer lending center, member specialists and contact center are consistently providing members with exceptional service. He will contribute to the senior management group in the development and attainment of strategic objectives; oversee branch loan and deposit growth; and implement consistent service standards throughout operations. Zanayed will work closely with the CEO and other senior vice presidents in directing CoVantage Credit Union toward its long-term continued success.

Dan Hanson and Rhonda Norrbom have both been selected to serve as Vice Presidents of Commercial Lending.

With more than 28 years of experience in commercial lending, Dan Hanson has helped businesses with their lending needs since 1985. Hanson previously worked for CoVantage Credit Union for 19 years as Vice President Commercial Lending. Prior to re-joining CoVantage Credit Union in October 2013, Hanson was a Vice President Business Banker at two large regional banks. He graduated from UW-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. Hanson lives in the Gleason area and will serve CoVantage business members from the Antigo office.

Rhonda Norrbom brings more than 19 years of financial and lending experience to the credit union’s commercial department. She most recently held positions as a Vice President Commercial Lending and as a Chief Credit Officer for a Wausau area financial institution. Norrbom is a graduate of Ottawa University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. A resident of Wittenberg, Norrbom will serve members at CoVantage’s headquarters in Antigo.

Norrbom and Hanson specialize in all areas of commercial and agricultural lending, including business, real estate, equipment, operating and line of credit loans. They, along with the entire commercial lending team, provide the benefit of local decisions and competitive loan pricing to area businesses and farmers who have specialized financial needs.
