Rhinelander?s Rog is guest lecturer at Harvard University
Christopher Rog, senior geologist and president of Sand Creek Consultants, Inc. and long-time Rhinelander resident, was invited to be a guest lecturer at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design for Landscape Architecture.
Rog delivered his lecture Oct. 17 and discussed “Phytoremediation Case Histories: The Use of Plants in Environmental Remediation”, a specialty area of environmental engineering in which Sand Creek is widely recognized as the national leader.
Sand Creek is a Wisconsin-based firm, founded in Rhinelander in 1995 by Rog. The company has conducted environmental engineering projects providing services related to landfills, chemical spills, stormwater management and other matters in 22 states, managed by a staff of environmental engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, soil scientists and support persons in their Rhinelander (on Davenport Street near the Courthouse) and Amherst offices.
