YMCA of the Northwoods hosts a bus to the theater and shopping in Eau Claire
The YMCA will be running a bus trip to Fanny Hill Dinner Theater and the Oakwood Mall in Eau Claire Thursday, Dec. 5.
“The holiday play A Carol of a Christmas will get you into the holiday spirit,” trip coordinator Marilyn Duschl said. “This is the fifth year we have traveled to Fanny Hill for their holiday performance. The plays have been hilarious, professionally done and the food is fabulous.”
Fanny Hill’s production of “A Carol of a Christmas” is another adventure in the life of Rudy. He finds out that he is supposedly related to Ebenezer Scrooge. His wife valiantly tries to point out that Scrooge is a fictional character, but Rudy is undaunted and is visited by the Ghost of Sitcoms Past. Rudy is taken on a wild ride with some of our best-loved characters that reaffirm the true meaning of Christmas.
Following the theater performance the bus will travel to Oakwood Mall for about two hours of power shopping, people watching or dinner-your choice. The coach bus leaves the Rhinelander Y at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is at 12:30 p.m. with the play to follow.
Following shopping the bus will return to Rhinelander at approximately 8:30PM. The cost for the trip is $76 and includes coach bus, lunch and theater ticket.
Seats are limited. To registery, call the YMCA at 715-362-9622.
