Be a part of this great Halloween event Saturday Oct. 26. Downtown Rhinelander is looking for lots of carved pumpkins from kids and adults.

More than 100 pumpkins will be lit up in the big green space in front of Trigs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 following the downtown 2 to 4 p.m. Trick or Treat. People can walk or drive by during that time to see all the pumpkins.

But we need carved pumpkins. Bring your carved pumpkin or pumpkins to Trigs big green space in downtown Rhinelander Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. only. Lights for your pumpkins will be provided.

Each child under 11 years old will receive a coupon for Rhinelander Cafe and Pub free kid’s meal. Everyone bringing a pumpkin will receive a coupon for free popcorn at Stage Left Cafe at Hext Theatre.

For each carved pumpkin you bring, your name will be entered in a drawing for one of 3 prizes. The drawing will take place at 9 p.m. by the pumpkins. A prize will also be given for the 3 best-carved pumpkins.

Starting at 9 p.m. until 10 p.m. you may pick up your pumpkin to take it home. All pumpkins not picked up will be given away.

Anyone who would like to help with this event, contact Joan at 715-362-3844 or DRI office, 715-362-7374.

For more information check out Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. Facebook or website or contact Downtown Rhinelander at 715-362-7374, drioffice@frontier.com. On Saturday Oct. 26, call Sharon’s cell at 612-325-7991.
