Obituary: Benedictus E. Niese Jr.
Benedictus E. Niese Jr., 87, of Rhinelander, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Friendly Village Nursing Home. Benedictus is survived by children, Leslie (Robert) Bashaw of Milton, Vermont, Joy (Jeff) Bowman of Garner, N.C., Ben (Paul Martin) Niese of Saratoga Springs, NY, Scott Niese of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Jeff (Rebecca) Niese of Rhinelander; and a brother, Henry (Paula) Niese of Glen Elg, Maryland. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 724 Arbutus St., Rhinelander with the Rev. Doug Harris officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of services at the church. Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
