Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Thomas Marren, MD, to Ministry Medical Group (MMG).

Marren will be providing care to patients at Ministry Medical Group clinics in Eagle River, Tomahawk and Woodruff.

As a board-certified family medicine physician, Marren focuses on all family health needs through all stages of life. This includes everything from preventive medicine to treating acute injuries. He has a special interest in dermatology procedures and wilderness medicine.

Marren earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill. He holds a master’s degree in physics from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, and his bachelor’s degree is from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Marren completed his residency at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Ill. He is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.

“I have always enjoyed archery because it’s never the same shot twice,” Marren said. “You must consider all of the various factors and how they are changing. It’s the same way when I treat patients – it’s important for me to understand what’s going on with that individual in real time and to work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan. That gives us our best shot at better health.”
In his spare time, Marren enjoys mountain biking, hiking, archery, fishing and spending time with his wife and children.

For more information or to schedule an appointment with Dr. Marren, call 715-477-3000 (Eagle River), 715-453-7200 (Tomahawk) and 715-356-8920 (Woodruff).
