The Rhinelander Railroad Association and the Three Lakes Model Railroad Club are cosponsoring The National Model Railroad Association, Winnebagoland Division fall meeting.

There will be model railroads running, how-to classes and historic presentations about local railroads. A Kids Corner with Thomas and friends will be staffed for the little railroaders to “play with trains” while the big kids enjoy craftsmanship of local modelers.

Layouts from Rhinelander, Three Lakes and Minocqua will be operated at the show along with other smaller table top layouts in different scales.

Stores and club members will be selling items related to railroading in the North Woods and more.

This all takes place in Rhinelander at the Northwoods Banquet Center 1540 Pueblo Drive from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. followed by a NMRA Division Happy Hour and awards Banquet with Robert Nadrowski, former vice president of the Wisconsin Central Limited giving the keynote address.

This event is open to the public for a $5 fee at the door and a family rate of $12.
To attend the happy hour and banquet, reservations must be made by Oct. 6.
For more information, visit the clubs’ websites at www.rrahome.org and www.TLMRC.org.
