Obituary: Lawrence H Kiesow

Lawrence H Kiesow, 85, of Rhinelander, died Sept. 26, 2013, in Rhinelander. He was born in Franklin to Theodore and Eva (Dean) Kiesow Dec. 6, 1927. After his schooling and a couple of years on the family farm, Lawrence entered the US Army and served from 1950-1952. He was stationed in Germany and was part of General Eisenhower’s security force. He is survived by his beloved life partner Shirley Kernin of Rhinelander; his brother, Floyd (Florence) Kiesow of Fort Atkinson; nieces; nephews; other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie on July 17, 1995; his sister, Vera Hintz; and his brother, Wayne. Visitation for Lawrence will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, all at the Carlson Funeral Home. The Rev. Kari Vadis will officiate. Interment will be in the Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Kiesow family at www.carlsonfh.com. The Carlson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the Keisow family.
