Obituary: Lawrence H Kiesow
Lawrence H Kiesow, 85, of Rhinelander, died Sept. 26, 2013, in Rhinelander. He was born in Franklin to Theodore and Eva (Dean) Kiesow Dec. 6, 1927. After his schooling and a couple of years on the family farm, Lawrence entered the US Army and served from 1950-1952. He was stationed in Germany and was part of General Eisenhower’s security force. He is survived by his beloved life partner Shirley Kernin of Rhinelander; his brother, Floyd (Florence) Kiesow of Fort Atkinson; nieces; nephews; other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie on July 17, 1995; his sister, Vera Hintz; and his brother, Wayne. Visitation for Lawrence will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, all at the Carlson Funeral Home. The Rev. Kari Vadis will officiate.
