Library releases youth program schedule

Several events for area youths will be held at the Rhinelander District Library in the upcoming weeks.

Baby Storytime – The Rhinelander District Library’s fall session of Baby Storytime is in progress. This storytime is conducted on Monday’s at 10:15 a.m. Designed for young ones ages six months to two years of age, this 20-minute program consists of simple stories, fingerplays, and music. A social/play time follows each program.

Preschool Programs – Two programs for preschoolers are scheduled at the Rhinelander District Library on Thursday, Oct. 10. A twenty-minute Parent/Tot Time program for children age 2 to 3 1/2 who are accompanied by an adult begins at 10 a.m. in the Children’s Department.

A forty-minute Story Time program for children age 3 1/2 to 6 is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the library meeting room. At the completion of the programs, caregivers and children from both groups will gather together to do a simple craft.

Wednesdays @ the Movies – The full-length children’s movie the The Croods (PG) will be shown on the big-screen in the Rhinelander District Library meeting room from 3:30 to 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16. No admission is charged.
