2013 Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Musky Challenge Results

The 2013 Hodag Musky Challenge champions are Matt Rollins and Brad Rollins from Chicago. They were fishing on the Moen Lake Chain and caught two musky measuring 45 inches and 46 1/2 inches to win the title. The team took home more than $5,200 in cash for their win. Their 46 1/2 inch musky was also the biggest musky caught of the tournament.

The 32nd annual Rhinelander Toyota Hodag Musky Challenge was held Friday Sept. 20 through Sunday Sept. 22. Seventy-eight teams registered for this annual musky fishing tournament. In all 12 musky were caught and registered through the two days of fishing. Six musky were caught on the Moen Chain, two were caught on Lake Thompson, two were caught on Oneida Lake, one was caught on the Wisconsin River and one was caught on Boom Lake.
Here is a rundown of the full results:
• 1st – Matt Rollins & Brad Rollins, fishing on the Moen Chain, caught a 45 and 46 1/2 inch musky
• 2nd – Jim Templin & Andy Pawlick, fishing on the Moen Chain, caught a 40 3/4 and 41 inch musky
• 3rd – Paul Schrieber & Dawn Quittschreiber, fishing on Lake Thompson, caught a 45 1/2 inch musky
• 4th (TIE)- Eric Anderson & Kyle Cherney, fishing on Oneida Lake, caught a 43 inch musky
• 4th (TIE)- Kevin Abendroth & Scott Abendroth, fishing on Oneida Lake, caught a 43 inch musky
• 4th (TIE) – Brad Jorgensen & Chris Lindner, fishing on the Moen Chain, caught a 43 inch musky
• 7th – Chad Rudie & Curt Radel, fishing Lake Thompson, caught a 42 inch musky
• 8th – Tom Urban & August Swenson, fishing on the Wisconsin River, caught a 41 1/2 inch musky
• 9th (TIE) – Buck Rogers & Bob Becker, fishing on the Moen Chain, caught a 40 inch musky
• 9th (TIE) – Tom Wilson & Curt Hoppe, fishing Boom Lake, caught a 40 inch musky
• Largest Musky of Saturday – Paul Schrieber & Dawn Quittschreiber, 45 1/2 inches caught on Lake Thompson
• Largest Musky of Sunday – Matt Rollins & Brad Rollins, 46 1/2 inches caught on Moen Chain
• Largest Northern of the Tournament – Rich Rehm & Bob Stockam, 32 inches caught on Moen Chain
