Through an annual Gold Heart Fundraising Program the Rouman Cinema is helping the mission of Variety: The Children’s Charity to support disabled and disadvantaged children in Wisconsin.

For the 2013 Gold Heart Campaign, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios partnered with Variety the Children’s Charity and Rouman Cinema to promote a collector’s pin featuring Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan (Sulley), the beloved characters from “Monsters, Inc.” and “Monsters University.”
This year, the Gold Heart Campaign raised a total of $1,000.

The Rouman Amusement Company, Inc is a family owned movie theater circuit which owns and operates 10 screens in two locations in Rhinelander and is celebrating 92 years of business in 2013. Rouman Cinema can be found online at roumancinema.com and facebook.com/roumancinema.

Since 1935, Variety: The Children’s Charity of Wisconsin, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit, has been transforming the lives of children in need. Today its mission is “to provide life-enriching assistance to Wisconsin children challenged by physical disabilities.”

Variety accomplishes its mission through three areas of programming: Freedom Program, Caring for Kids Program, and Future Kids Program.
