The Rhinelander Area Food Pantry and the Optimist Club will be the beneficiaries of a unique fundraiser taking place at Golden Karat Jewelers in Rhinelander. Sale associates have been busy crafting bracelets made from sparkly crystal shamballa and hematite beads that will sell for $20. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward the Food Pantry and the Optimist Club.

“We wanted to help out the community,” said Stacey O’Connor, a sales associate at Golden Karat Jewelers. “With school starting back up and sports in full swing again we thought this would be a good time to have this fundraiser. It’s a good way to show your Hodag pride and help out the community at the same time.”
The associates made 280 of these bracelets and they are selling fast . Golden Karat Jewelers is located in the Walmart Shopping Center in Rhinelander. They are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number is 715-369-5551.
