The YMCA of the Northwoods will tip off its Adult Basketball League, Wednesday, Sept. 25, with a new twist. This League will be a “call your own foul” League.

Games will all have a supplied scorekeeper and games will be played to 50 points. The league will run as a six week round robin and feature a single elimination tournament with the champions bringing home coveted t-shirts.

The new league will have an entry fee of $90. The Y has opened Wednesday nights to six A teams, and Thursdays to six B Teams, however if the two leagues do not fill up they may be merged together.

Registration will open Tuesday, Sept. 2 and have a deadline of Wednesday, Sept. 15. A complete list of rules and blank roster forms can be found on the Y website. Get your team together today and start your run to the YMCA Basketball Championship.

For more information, call the YMCA of the Northwoods at 362-9622 ext 113 or visit www.ymcaofthenorthwoods.org.
