Harvest Festival scheduled for Sept. 21
The Lake Tomahawk Lioness Club hosts its 24th annual Fall Harvest Festival at Snowshoe Park Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Lions Club will hold their second annual Auto Show starting at 8 a.m. Both are free to attendees.
The Festival is filled with arts and crafts, cars, a farmers market and fun. With something for every member of the family, it features a children’s area where wooden pumpkins can be decorated. Prizes are awarded in age groups. Hauser’s Bayield apples will again join the festival. Concession stand offerings will be available, and our famous pies will be sold as well as caramel and turtle apples.
These events serve as fundraisers for both groups in order to fulfill their goals. Donations have been given to the Wisconsin Eye Bank, Lions Camp, Leader dogs for the Blind, scholarships, and other local, state and national efforts.
