Oneida County Fair announces Big Top schedule

The Oneida County Fair recently announced the schedule for this year’s “Big Top” entertainment. The Fair will be held Aug. 1 through 4.

Opening the Big Top Entertainment Thursday, Aug. 1 will be the Northwoods Brass Quintet with the opening ceremony from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Critic, the three piece girl rock band, will perform from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with the country rock band Rose Canyon headlining the night from 8 to 11 p.m.
Friday, Wendy Lee will perform a variety of music from 4 to 5 p.m. to kick things off with Restoration Jazz Band playing their On-The-Green music from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The blues/rock band, Kings Highway, will perform from 8 to 11 p.m.
Local teen bands will form the Tunesmith Academy to open the Big Top Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Wendy Lee returns from 3 to 4 p.m. The blues/folk duo of One-Man Johnson and Mike Quick will play from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s headliner will be the award winning Elvis/Patsy Cline Tribute from 8 to 11 p.m.
On Sunday, Mark Wayne will bring his pedal-steel country gospel to the stage from noon to 1:30 p.m. The popular Johnny Cash Revue will close the stage Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
