Obituary: Donald K. Underhill

Donald K. Underhill, 81, of Rhinelander, died June 28, 2013, at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff. He was born Oct. 21, 1931 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Samuel and Elsie (Zentgraf) Underhill. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pauline (Heiting) Underhill; his children, Deborah (Douglas) Willis of Bradenton, Fla., Barbara (Jose Mercedez) Jimenez of Bradenton, Fla., Bruce Underhill of Fort Myers, Fla., and Teresa (Kurt) Hanson of Portland, Ore.; a twin sister, Enid Malone of Kings Park, N.Y.; a brother, Wallace Underhill of Inverness, Fla.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David. Mr. Underhill served with the Navy during the Korean War. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., with a prayer service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Carlson Funeral Home with Deacon William Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m., with a Mass of Christian burial to be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg. (Carlson Funeral Home)
