Viewpoint: Writer feels he should not have been committed

I wrote a letter back in February of this year telling my story of being put under commitment by Oneida County. Well, the saga continues.

Folks, this is a corrupt, repressive government we have at all levels. This government will lie, cheat and steal a life from someone in order to make a buck.
I was put under commitment on June 6 for another six months. They are stealing my life from my children. They said I was going to find a doctor to prescribe too much insulin and cause me to die. If I wanted to kill myself, I would. I told that jury how I wanted to live to 100 and always took care of myself. Yet the jury bought into the government and their lies.

I do hope someone can contact the Human Service Center about the lies.

Thank you,
Steven S. Smith Sr., Rhinelander
