The Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center has announced that a few arts and crafts booths are still available for two upcoming festivals.

Paul Bunyan Fest is slated for Aug. 14 in downtown Eagle River. The chamber invites artists/crafters to display Northwoods-themed and other hand-made crafts for sale at the festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is held rain or shine and more than 2,500 people attend.

The 34th annual Cranberry Fest will be held Oct. 5 and 6 in Eagle River. Artists/crafters are invited to display their handmade arts and crafts for sale at Cranberry Fest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. This event is also held rain or shine and more than 40,000 people attend.

For more information on how to participate in either festival, call Kim Emerson, events coordinator, at (715) 479-6400 or (800) 359-6315 or visit eagleriver.org and click on “Events.” Those interested in displaying crafts at Cranberry Fest may also log on to cranberryfest.org for more information.
