Rennes Health and Rehab Center of Rhinelander invites the community to a grand opening on June 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. Entertainment, refreshments and tours of the facility will be available. The new facility is located at 1970 Navajo Street off Hwy. 17 across from the Social Security office.

Rennes is dedicated to providing a full range of rehab therapies that bridge the gap between a hospital stay and the return to home.

Licensed as a skilled nursing facility, the Rhinelander center will offer both short- and long-term care focusing on meeting the needs of individuals recovering from an illness or injury.

Rennes Health and Rehab Center has 72 beds, all Medicare/Medicaid certified, consisting of both private and deluxe suites. All rooms are spacious and have private bathrooms with large walk-in showers, private phones, flat screen TVs with cable and wireless Internet.

Other amenities include dining options, selected menus, fireplace lounges, private family areas, transportation, activities, outings, whirlpool spa room, beauty shop, religious services and more.

Nursing and rehab specialties include 24-hour nursing, wound care, IV therapy, in-house therapy staff, occupational, physical, speech and Vital-Stim therapies, one-to-one resident to therapist treatment, outpatient rehab, state-of-the-art rehab equipment, comprehensive discharge planning and free transportation at admission.
