The Oneida County Funded ATV/UTV Trail System is now open for the 2013 season.

The Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Outdoor Recreation Department recommends staying on clearly marked trails and advises riders to exercise caution when riding an ATV/UTV. The trails can be in rough, early season condition, so riders should obey all signs and regulations.

County-funded trail gates have been retrofitted to permit UTVs up to 65 inches wide.

The Enterprise Campground is also now open. The campground is located within the Oneida County Forest and is approximately 11 miles south of Rhinelander on Shingle Mill Rd. The campground is accessible via the Enterprise ATV/UTV trail or via Shingle Mill Rd. There are 11 campsites with grills, fire rings and picnic tables. Restrooms and hand-pump wells are also provided. Fees are $10 per night per site and are payable by self-registration.

For more information on Oneida County ATV/UTV trail riding opportunities, contact the Oneida County ATV Association at (715) 277-5101.
