Free fishing, trails, admission in Wisconsin state parks June 1-2
The first weekend in June, once known as Wisconsin’s free fishing weekend, now offers more. In addition to free fishing, a variety of activities can be enjoyed for no charge throughout the state during the weekend of June 1-2.
Besides free fishing anywhere in the state, trails may also be used free of charge that weekend. Admission to state parks and forests will be free Sunday, June 2. New this year, free riding is offered on public ATV trails for residents and visitors alike on that weekend; no registration will be needed for Wisconsin machines, and no trail passes will be needed for nonresidents.
