Rhinelander Auto Center held a press conference and groundbreaking ceremony on Friday , May 3 to commemorate the development of the new Rhinelander Toyota dealership opening in the fall. Bayland Buildings, Inc. was selected as the general contractor for the new 33,373 square foot facility which will feature a guest lounge, personal car delivery area, spacious service write-up and a full automotive service center.

Among community leaders in attendance was Mayor Johns who personally thanked Rhinelander GM owner Mike Aus for the hard work and commitment to building the community. Aus, along with members of Toyota’s management team, expressed gratitude for the community’s receptiveness toward the dealership construction. “It’s a fulfilled dream to have built a dealership from the ground up,” said Aus, “We’re grateful to be able to give back to the community through this construction.”

Oneida County Economic Development Executive Director Roger Luce also spoke on behalf of the city of Rhinelander, saying, “This dealership construction is not only a great advance for the community, but the entire region. We anticipate this extension will provide strong sales and new hires.”

Rhinelander Auto Center also operates the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealership, OK Used Cars of Rhinelander and Rhinelander Detail Pros. Construction of the new Toyota dealership has begun and is expected to be completed in November.
