The Oneida County Land and Water Department, UW-Extension, Lumberjack Resource Conservation and Development Council, and the Langlade County Land Conservation Department wish to invite students to participate in the Oneida County and Surrounding Areas Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Photo/Poster Contest. Area students in 2nd through 12th grades are eligible to participate, and a total of six divisions will have prizes available.

Medals will be awarded for first, second and third places, and honorable mention certificates will also be presented. Each 1st place winner’s class and school will become winners, too. Additionally, winning entries will become part of a traveling art exhibit, and an AIS poster calendar will be designed for distribution throughout the Oneida County area.

All entries must be received by 4 p.m. May 3, 2013, and may be dropped off at the following locations: UW-Extension office (lower level of airport), Rhinelander District Library, Minocqua Public Library, Demmer Memorial Library in Three Lakes, Antigo Public Library, and the Langlade County Land Conservation Department in Antigo.
