At the March 19 monthly meeting of Bronsted-Searl Post 93, Commander Scott Story awarded certificates of participation to five members of American Legion Post 93’s Auxiliary. They were Kay Jelinek, Pam Lohmeier, Jeanie Osero, Claudia Osero and Joyce Van Strydonk.

Commander Story said that these five ladies donated just over 106 hours of volunteer work at the post for the recent celebration of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the American Legion and the Saint Patrick’s Day Dinner. Their work included preparation and serving of the meal, and cleanup afterward. Commander Story noted that without the help of these volunteers, this event would not have occurred.
