Obituary: Larry Edmond Hill

Larry Edmond Hill, 77, died Saturday, March 23, 2013, in Rhinelander. He was born Jan. 1, 1936, to Frank and Frances (Grimes) Hill. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Sarah) Hill of Madison, Frank Hill of Sugar Camp and Donald (Tammy) Hill of Rhinelander; his daughters, Wanita (Pat) Cook of Rhinelander and Michelle (Paul) Fenske of Milwaukee; brothers Mark (Bev) Catlett of Zanesville, Ohio and David Hill of Minneapolist, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Dolores Ziemke of Bowling Green, Ky.; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine; his parents; three brothers; and three sisters. Mr. Hill served in the Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1960 and was a member of VFW Ray Rousseau Post #3143. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and driving stock cars. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 30, at Forest Home Cemetery at 10 a.m. (Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home)
