Swim Club ends regular season

The Rhinelander Swim Club wrapped up their regular season on March 10 with a banquet recognizing the swimmer’s accomplishments.

Senior Alex Peter received an award for being a member of the club for 10 years. Alex was also one of the lane coaches for the first practice swimmers. Miranda Erdmann, Taylor Hollands, Russell Benoy, Jaida Salaam and Hannah Hoffhein were recognized for attending all regular season meets. Joseph Heck, Miranda Erdmann, Sayge Stojadinovic, Grace Heck, Audrey Schiek, Jack Antonuk, Tucker Lindman, Russell Benoy, Noelle St. Pierre, Charlie Heck and Thaddeus Heck were recognized for qualifying for the Midwest Regional Meet held in Minneapolis, Minn. March 23 and 24. Joseph Heck and Sayge Stojadinovic were recognized for qualifying for the state meet held on Feb. 23 and 24. All club members were awarded a certificate stating the date and meet of their personal best times.

RSC will hold its “Stay Wet Season” starting on April 9 thru May 23 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost will be $35 and is open to any swimmer that is able to swim 25 yards, unaided in either the freestyle or backstroke with proper technique. Time of practice(s) will be announced.
