The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a community notification regarding a registered sex offender in the Town of Crescent. In accordance with Wisconsin State Statute 301.46(2)(e), it has been determined that the following information on Louis L. Hallock should be released to the community.

In 1999, Hallock was convicted of two counts of second degree sexual assault that involved three different juvenile males between the ages of 12 and 14 years old. Hallock would approach his victims in public places and befriend them. He provided gifts to his victims. He befriended the juveniles’ families as well.

On March 25, 2013, Hallock will be living at 3308 S. Fox Ranch Road in the town of Crescent in Oneida County. He will be required to wear a GPS for his lifetime.

Those with questions may contact Detective Sergeant Terri Smoczyk at (715) 361-5150 or probation agent Judy Lehman at (715) 365-2579.
