The School District of Rhinelander Board of Education has announced that Kelli Jacobi has been chosen as the new school superintendent. She will replace Roger Erdahl, who is retiring, and will begin her new position July 1.

Jacobi has been with the school district for 22 years as a teacher at West School and NCES, principal at NCES and most recently as the director of curriculum and instructor.

Her husband, Jim, is an attorney-coach for the RHS Mock Trial Team. Her daughter, Megan, graduated from RHS in 2004 and is working as a veterinarian in the area.

Kelli Jacobi is originally from Iowa. She attended Drake University and has completed graduate programs at Marian College and UW-Superior.
