When it comes to plumbing, hiring a professional is always best and that’s what Joe Schoone and Mike Quade are. There is 55 years of expertise in the plumbing industry between these business partners.

In fact, these two entrepreneurs have two businesses they keep busy with. In addition to Quade and Schoone Plumbing, they also operate Wisconsin Water Treatment Corp. This business was originally founded by Mike’s dad, Don Quade, who passed away last year. “Joe and I both have lots of experience installing and servicing these filters,” said Mike. “Dad and I installed more than 1,000 of these units over the years.” These water filters have been installed by Don since 1973. They have a solid and high performance track record and are perfect for those experiencing water quality issues including iron, tannin, odors and acidity.

Mike and Joe started their plumbing business in 1994, although both have been in the industry since the 1980s. Their specialties cover a wide range including new construction, remodeling projects, commercial work and servicing existing plumbing systems. Their service area encompasses a large area of the Northwoods, including Rhinelander, Minocqua, Tomahawk, Phelps, Phillips and even the UP. “I have a master plumber’s license for Michigan also,” said Joe.

Mike and Joe both grew up in Rhinelander and have raised their families here. They know the importance of quality workmanship and complete customer satisfaction. “We believe the success to our business is keeping our customers happy,” said Joe. “In both of our businesses we believe in continuing the tradition of providing quality service.”

In addition to daytime office hours, Mike and Joe also maintain emergency hours when needed. The phone number for Quade and Schoone Plumbing is (715) 362-4577 and the number for Wisconsin Water Treatment Corp. is (715) 362-4397.
