The Rhinelander Masonic Lodge #242 is beginning plans for the annual Walk for a Cure Saturday, May 18. The event is a 60-mile walk from the Rhinelander Masonic Lodge to the Wausau Masonic Lodge and is open to anyone. The Walk to Cure Cancer begins at noon. All proceeds will be donated to the Relay for Life in support of the fight against cancer.

Walk to Cure Cancer is open to anyone who wishes to take part. Participants can walk for as long as they wish. The event is not a contest or a race; it is a family event open to all skill levels.

To date, the Walk to Cure Cancer has raised more than $17,000 toward the fight against cancer.

For more information or to sign up or make a donation, visit rhinelanderlodge242.org and click on the “Walk to Cure Cancer” link, or call (715) 892-2392 or (715) 966-6894.
