Obituary: Tony P. Motel

Tony P. Motel, 93, of West Salem, and formerly of Rhinelander, died Oct. 12, 2012, in LaCrosse. He was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Ino, to Andrew and Verona (Arendos) Motil. He is survived by his sons, Robin of Alascadero, Calif. and Dan of Schaumberg, Ill.; his daughters, Sally (John) Wolfe of Buckeye, Ariz., Jill (Ed) Skubal of West Salem and Lynn (Tim) Smith of Laveen, Texas; four grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and his sister, Dorothy of Calif. He was preceded by his parents; his wife Helen; six brothers; and four sisters. Tony served in the Air Corps Engineers during WW II. He then worked for the Rhinelander Paper Company for 32 years. A memorial service will be Friday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. at the Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 10 a.m.
