Eagle River YMCA Fall registration
The Eagle River YMCA is filling up the fall classes with YMCA members who have had open registration since September. Oct. 17 is the date that the general public can register. Registration can be done online or by calling the number below.
Registering early is important to reserve a spot. Many of the Fall 1 classes restrict the number of participants for better quality. Fall 1 had many classes at capacity. At this point, classes have room for more, but as the start date of Oct. 28, draws closer, those classes will be full.
Classes at risk for size limit reaching capacity are Total Body Senior, Adult Water Aerobics, Preschool and Youth Swim Lessons, Yoga, Zumba, Power Beats and Studio Cycling. Fit for Life and Fitness Fusion, while not limitless, generally have the capacity to accommodate more people. The schedule can be found online or stopping in at the Y in the NPHS.
YMCA members in Eagle River can enjoy the reduced class rate of $10 per class session ($20 for two days a week for 7 weeks, $30 for 3 day a week classes). Non-members pay $35 per class session ($70 for two days a week for 7 weeks, $105 for 3 day a week classes). Drop-ins are more than welcome, with a rate of $3/members or $10/non-members. Register at www.ymcaofthenorthwoods.org or call (715) 479-9500 or (715) 362-9622.
