College Visit Night Oct. 16
Anyone thinking about attending Nicolet can learn more about the college and transfer opportunities to earn a bachelor’s degree at the upcoming College Visit Night from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, on the Nicolet campus.
Prospective students, particularly high school juniors and seniors, can attend a presentation from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Nicolet Theatre to learn about the Nicolet admissions process, career services, financial aid, and scholarships.
From 5:30 to 7 p.m., the event will switch to an open house format to give people the opportunity to tour the campus and view the latest technology in the Nicolet labs and classrooms that are of interest to them. Tour guides will be on hand to guide people around campus and answer questions.
Also from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from 16 different four-year colleges about transferring Nicolet credits to earn a bachelor’s degree. This portion of the evening will take place on the first floor of the University Transfer Center.
Four-year colleges that will have representatives available include UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Stevens Point (nursing and natural resources), UW-Green Bay (nursing and adult degree program), UW-Superior, UW-Oshkosh, UW- River Falls, UW-Stout, Northern Michigan University, Northland College, Franklin University, Rasmussen College and Viterbo University.
Those attending will have the college’s admission fee waived that evening.
Parents are also encouraged to attend.
