Obituary: Richard E. Quade

Richard E. Quade, 56, of Mosinee, died doing what he loved, on Sept. 15, 2012. Richard was born on July 5, 1956, in Rhinelander, to Earl and Jean (Hunter) Quade.

He had attended school in Rhinelander. Richard had been employed for many years with Veloia Group. He also had owned his own auto repair shop in Rhinelander. Richard enjoyed polishing and riding his Harley, harassing his children and grandchildren and old cars.

Surviving are his children, Bobbi Jo Fischer (Jesse Everson), Steven Quade (Paula Wolf), Andrew Quade, Brittney Quade, Jesse (Chelsey) Quade, Eddie Quade and Richard and Matthew Quade; step-children, Paul Werth, Lynn (Jeff) Draftz, Tara (Jordan) Grimshaw, Misty Ottman (Cameron). Also surviving are one sister, Debbie Quade-Jones (Ron Coleman) and 10 grandchildren. Richard is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a fiance, Dianne Bath.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 21, at 3 p.m., at the Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
